Although I recognize that there is a distinction between the words commendation and recommendation, the aim of the Top Choice Casinos website is to present all of the best online casinos I have come across while playing down the years and there are some, while they might not necessarily have every part of the operation spot on, who do have elements that will appeal to players.

The purpose of this page is to supplement my full online casino reviews (or if you live in the US, the more limited choice of US casinos) wth some of the best points of other casinos that you might find worth exploring if you are after something specific like for example, slot games you find in land-based casinos or regular bonuses. So let's start with the latter...

Where to play with Bonuses
Personally, I don't play with signup bonuses because invariably they come with restrictions which mean you can't cash out until those have been met. Historically, anything free gets abused and as such bonus restrictions are now pretty hard on players. Despitethat, casinos have yet to find anything that is as appealing as the offer of seemingly free money.

Nonetheless, signup bonuses do attract a lot of players and some use them quite legitimately to extend their entertainment whilst accepting that their chances of cashing out are lower. And of course there are "loyalty" bonuses at most casinos that often come with less restrictions because as the name suggests, they are awarded to players who play more regularly. Which is why I like to find a few casinos and stick with them.

For players outside the USA, few (safe!) casinos offer better ongoing bonuses than Mansion, who operate on Playtech software, or Roxy Palace who run on Microgaming software and who I review in more depth here. Both obviously have decent signup bonuses - decent as in the amount - with the usual wagering restrictions of course, but both are well known for providing ongoing regular deposit bonuses. Both actually do no-deposit bonuses fairly frequently for VIPs too.

Mansion have the edge as Roxy tends to want to know who you are first and they do cater mainly for the lower roller, however signing up to both is not a bad idea as they have a different set of games. Be aware though that the reverse pending time at both casinos is 48 hours (no flushing) and the cashout time is 72 hours. That is often the trade-off with casinos that offer the better bonuses.

But just as you thought that was the definitive word, note that Roxy Palace has a better mobile casino which runs on all devices making it one of the best casinos for iPads and iPhones too. I haven't done an in-depth review of that yet but it has the same games choice as 32red Mobile Casino so you can read my opinions on that one for the game detail.

For players inside the USA where options are far more limited, then Club USA offers the most regular bonuses including regular no deposit bonuses for regulars. However you should note that there are maximum cashout restrictions on the bonuses of 10x the bonus although the more loyal you stay, the less the wagering requirements. I have had no deposit bonuses from Club USA with wagering as low as 1x before now but bear in mind I was a VIP for a while.

Where to find land-based casino slots, online
I have always been a slots player so this is my forte. I frequent land based casinos several times a year and aim straight for the slot machines! Consequently I look for Novomatic Gaminator games in Europe or IGT and WMS slots when in the USA or Spain.

Most Europeans and South Americans can find somewhere to play IGT or Novomatic slots online and UK, Swedish and a handful of other players can also get their mits on WMS games too at Jackpot Party which is owned by WMS themselves (Jackpot Party review).

For Novomatic games like Book Of Ra, Sizzling Hot or Lucky Lady's Charm and a host of other Gaminator-based games then the best options have to be MyBet casino, Star Games or if you live in the UK, Sky Vegas. Sky would be my pick but as they only really take UK players then you might find MyBet a better option. They too have some country restrictions but they pay fast and have a good range of games if you can get in. For everyone else, Star Games is the best option as they have very few country restrictions and every Novomatic game you would want! The downside is, they are very slow to pay out and answer emails: over a week in some cases. But they are safe and they do pay (eventually!).

The best known of all the slot game manufacturers is arguably International Gaming Technology (IGT) and they have a huge range of games online. Cleopatra 1 & 2, Siberian Storm, Wolf Run, Elvis The King, Fire Opals, Kitty Glitter, Pharaoh's Fortune and many more but again, a number of countries are excluded - for now, anyway.

My first choices for these games would be at either Sky Vegas (again!), who have a really good set of IGT and Novomatic games and are fast at cashouts, or at the UK bookmaker BetVictor. BetVictor is one of very few casinos to have the Pharaoh's Fortune slot too and also has a very good range of IGT slots along with a handful of Novomatics like Book Of Ra, several top Microgaming slots and a big range of popular Net Entertainment slot machines. BetVictor also pay very fast but my one grip when playing there was that you are unable to set deposit limits so be warned. That may have changed by now - they said it would - but check first if this is important.
